What Makes Good Lighting?
With over 80 years of experience Thorlux understands the importance of good lighting and its effect on people. Using its wealth of knowledge Thorlux has created the Light Quality Experience to demonstrate the science behind light and its influence on our mental and physical well-being.
Live and Interactive
The interactive space allows visitors to see, feel and explore light and lighting. Visual comfort is a subjective reaction to quantity and quality of light which can directly affect our decision making, our efficiency at work and our concentration levels. Visitors can learn how and why glare causes visual discomfort and how good lighting can mitigate or even eliminate it. Within the space, live demonstrations also focus on the importance of colour temperature and the colour rendering qualities of the LED light sources we use.

The Light Quality Experience is located in the Application Centre at Thorlux HQ. Guests can also participate in a Live Emergency Evacuation experience or take advantage of the comprehensive CPD offering.
